A variety of recreational opportunities exist at Craig Regional Park.
Both open and shaded turf grass and picnic areas are available. Bicycle and hiking/walking trails are also offered for visitor enjoyment.
A 3-acre lake is visited by many annual migratory waterfowl, fishing is allowed with a California Fish and Game License. Launching of model radio - controlled sailboats is also permitted.
The park is also a wildlife sanctuary and is very popular as a bird watching destination.
Nine picnic shelters provide shade with tables and barbecues. In addition there are picnic tables and barbeques scattered throughout the facility.
The park's interpretive center provides an interpretive diorama on the park's natural habitat. The Ted Craig's Nature Center can be opened upon public request Mondays thru Fridays.
The park offers a variety of recreational activities including softball fields, baseball fields, jogging trails, an equestrian trail, and a sports complex with basketball, volleyball, and racquetball/handball courts and horseshoe pits.
No fields for soccer are available. Three tot lots are also available for children.
The Park is extremely popular on holidays.
