Talbert Tours

Join Preserve Staff on fun-filled, yet informational tours that explore the unique natural history of Talbert Nature Preserve. Tour components may include; hands-on activities, nature walks, crafts and storytelling. Tours are based upon staff availability and will be cancelled if inclement weather is present. Children aged 18 and under must have an adult guardian present. Minimum number of participants required is 10, and the tour duration is 1 1/2 hours. Tours currently available Tuesday through Friday. Talbert Tuesdays!

10:30 am to 12:00 pm

Come discover our amazing natural world at Talbert Nature Preserve through hands-on activities, crafts and nature walks. Be prepared for an exciting outdoor experience! Adult supervision is required for all students. Program is designed for ages 2-8 years, but all ages are welcome. Parking is available at Fairview Park located on Placentia Avenue in the City of Costa Mesa. Stairs leading to the preserve are located on the north-west slope of the park. Class meets at the Talbert Nature Preserve Restroom/Picnic Area. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
