Access is first come, first served until parking capacity is reached. No registration required.

Adventure on horseback through Black Star Canyon, part of OC Parks’ Irvine Ranch Open Space. Trails will be open for self-guided hiking, biking and equestrian use. Equestrian riders who have trail riding experience with a fit and able horse can enjoy a variety of trail loops offer extended exploration throughout the scenic canyons. 

There is limited space for equestrian parking. Riders must be able to transport their horse to the staging area.

Rain or inclement weather will cancel the program.
