Please be aware this is a fitness hike and not for beginners; the pace is approximately a 19-minute mile.

Raise your heart rate and your spirits on this strenuous, fast-paced, 4.8-mile hike over steep and uneven terrain with approximately 650 feet of elevation gain with Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteers.

Participants must be at least 16 years old and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Anyone under 18 must sign a waiver, provided on arrival,  at the start of the event. 

The hike begins at James Dilley Preserve, 350 Artisan Drive, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Water, closed-toe shoes and sun protection are recommended.

The event is free but parking is $3 per vehicle. 

Rain or muddy conditions will cause the park to close and cancel the event.
