Join us at Clark Regional Park and explore the changes in geology, biology and the environment since dinosaurs became extinct about 66 million years ago at the end of the Cretaceous Period.

This slow-paced walk is intended to promote a better understanding of the relative time between significant events in earth’s history and the dramatic changes that have occurred over the last 66 million years. We will travel through time on foot, stopping at various intervals to summarize the conditions present in Southern California and learn about significant changes that occurred elsewhere in North America at that same point in time. The leisurely walk is approximately 1.1 miles on a flat, paved walkway.

Registration is required for all participants. Learn more and register here.
