Cost: $3 per student or adult Tours are 1 1/2 hours in length and include a zoo tour guide. Topics covered include habitats, adaptations, feeding habits, and general information about animals native to the southwestern United States. Tours are available for any grade level. Tours also include a short small animal presentation and a visit to the Irvine Park Nature Center.
If requested, tours can include native plant information.
Train ride at Irvine Park Railroad may be added to any tour for an additional school group fee of $3 per student.
All fees are to paid the day your group is scheduled for a tour. Please note 1 adult chaperone or teacher is required for every 10 students.

Toddler Programs
Ages: 3-4 years old Cost: $5 (includes admission for child enrolled and ONE parent) * Additional parents/siblings/family/friends must pay admission fee to enter the zoo.
These programs are approximately one hour in length and include educational information, hands-on learning and crafts. Parent must accompany child for duration of the program.

Guided Tours
Cost: $3 per person
Guided tours are available for girl scouts, boy scouts, brownies, cub scouts, etc. Guided tours are one hour in length. Topics focused on include habitats, adaptations, feeding habits and general information about animals native to the southwestern United States.
If requested, specific topics may be covered (native plants, mammals, birds, wildlife careers, etc.).

Discovery Cart
The discovery cart is stationed inside the zoo and has lots of fun and educational hands-on artifacts for zoo guests to see & touch.
These carts are out when we have docent volunteers to staff them. On your next visit to the zoo, be sure to look out for the discovery cart!
