Park Rules

 

 

  • Smoking in designated areas only.
  • Park only in designated areas.
  • Swimming or wading in creek or lake is prohibited. (No watercraft allowed)
  • A speed limit of 10 MPH enforced at all times.
  • Fires are permitted only in fireplaces and approved camp stoves. Fire prevention must be the first concern of every visitor.
  • No wood in barbecues.
  • No amplified sound.
  • The park depends on visitors to protect all wildlife, vegetation, features, and improvements.
  • Use of motorized vehicles and equipment is prohibited.
  • State fishing license required for visitors over 16 years of age.
  • MINORS MUST BE UNDER DIRECT ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES.
  • Consumption of intoxicants prohibited.
  • Dogs must be restrained by a leash at all times (6-foot maximum)
  • Vehicle operations restricted to designated roads.
  • Possession or use of firearms or weapons is prohibited.
  • Tents and hammocks not permitted.
  • This wilderness area is characterized by certain inherent dangers. These dangers include mountain lions, rattlesnakes, poison oak, and rugged terrain.
  • RVs/Motorhomes and oversized vehicles cannot be accommodated in regular parking spaces. Please call ahead to make parking arrangements.
