Peters Canyon Regional Park would like five volunteers per day to assist with habitat restoration at Peters Canyon. Park staff will train volunteers in the in the removal of non-native and invasive plants and trees and the planting of native plants and trees.

Navigate the fragrant shrub land to find local reptiles, butterflies, and other cute critters. Identify seasonal wildflowers. Pass by shady willows, clusters of cattails, and regal rushes near the water's edge. See a diversity of birds, including egrets, ducks, and various perching birds. There is a possibility of viewing autumn migrants. Study tracks and other wildlife evidence. Learn how the local tribe survived using native plants. This tour is an excellent opportunity for young children to explore the natural world at a leisurely pace.
