Rain May Cause Debris Flows Affecting O'Neill Regional Park

Campers and visitors may need to evacuate during rain events.

Due to the recent Holy Fire, flooding and debris flows may occur during rain events affecting Trabuco Creek, adjacent to the O’Neill Regional Park campground.

Please be advised that the campground will be evacuated and the park closed if predicted or actual rainfall exceeds safe thresholds and conditions exist that pose imminent threat to life and property.

Advance notice will be provided whenever possible, but weather can be unpredictable.

If camping when rainfall may occur, you should be prepared to evacuate within one hour if necessary.

In the event that an evacuation or closure occurs, you will receive a full refund for paid reservation fees. Evacuations and closures will be determined by the National Weather Service forecast.
