Aliso Beach ParkAliso Beach
Swimming, surfing, skin diving and paddle boarding all take place in the waters off Aliso Beach. Also enjoy fishing, sunbathing, tidepools exploration and sand castle building. A concessionaire offers fishing gear rental and sales, food and beverages and beach supplies.
Capistrano Beach Park.Capistrano Beach
Enjoy volleyball, basketball and other beach activities. During the summer months, a concessionaire offers fishing gear rental and sales, food and beverages and beach supplies.
Newport Harbor.Newport Harbor
One of the finest and most scenic small boat harbors in the world winds its way back to Newport Dunes, a favorite gathering place for water-oriented family fun. A calm water beach is great for sunbathing and swimming with the kids. More active aquatic adventures include sail boarding, boating and fishing. The harbor features boat slips for every type of recreational craft, from rowboats to yachts. RV camping is available at the Dunes. Don’t miss the harbor’s special events such as the Ensenada Race, the Christmas Boat Parade and a continuum of regattas.
Dana Point Youth & Group Facility.OC Sailing and Events Center
Sail, sailboard or just survey the Point’s tidepools at this facility where water fun is the main activity. From green-hand to captain, the OC Sailing and Events Center has a recreation program for everyone.

Salt Creek is a popular surfing location. A small, offshore reef creates some of the best-left swells along the entire shoreline. Swimming, body surfing, sunbathing and tidepools exploration are other beach activities.
Sunset Beach.Sunset Beach
Sunset Beach provides ample space for recreational activities. Traditional water related activities such as swimming, and body and board surfing are common. A surfing zone is provided and controlled by the “black ball” flag system. Lifeguard service is provided. Food and beach supplies are available at many nearby stores, restaurants and food stands.
Sunset Harbor.Sunset-Huntington Harbor
There are five marinas within the Sunset-Huntington Harbor area. Also, near the harbor is the Anaheim Bay National Wildlife Refuge that is home to numerous types of marine life and birds that thrive in the natural habitat; and is said to be one of the most important and beautiful natural wildlife areas along the Pacific Coast.

Bordering Newport Back Bay, the Nature Preserve provides vistas of the coastal wetlands, which are reminiscent of the historic landscape of much of Alta California. Renowned as one of the finest birding sites in North America, several endangered species make this natural preserve their home. The Muth Interpretive Center overlooks the shimmering estuary, offering the visitor a portage to bay life.
