(949)923-2290 | | Thu9Sep | Those Urban Bobcats7:00 pmPlease join us for an informational discussion of Orange County's wildcats with OC Tracker's Dick Newell and Don Millar. Discussions will include the differences between bobcats, cougars ( or mountain lions) and talk about the adaptations that the bobcats have made in order to coexist with humans in urban settings. Dick and Don will be showing recent photos of "Babe" the unofficial mascot of the Bay, with her offspring and will attempt to explain her behavior as she sought the security of our residential yards to protect her newborn kittens. If you have photographs of 'Babe' that you would like to share you are encouraged to do so by email.

Join us for the 26th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 25th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at Upper Newport Bay. To lesson paper and plastic waste, please bring your own re-usable bottle to fill with with water we provide. Gloves and tash bags provided. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing for a fun-filled day in the outdoors. Hats and sunscreen highly recommended.
